"Table 4" of "Search for Higgs boson decays into a $Z$ boson and a light hadronically decaying resonance using 13 TeV $pp$ collision data from the AT…
2020
Expected and observed 95% CL upper limits on $\sigma(pp\to H)B(H\to Z(\eta_c~\text{or}~J/\psi))/$pb. The smaller (larger) quoted ranges around the expected limits represent $\pm 1\sigma$ ($\pm 2\sigma$) fluctuations.

Differential cross section ${\rm d}^2\sigma^{\rm pp}_{{\rm J}/\psi}/{\rm d}y{\rm d}p_{\rm T}$ for inclusive J/$\psi$ cross section in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=5.02$ TeV. The first uncertainty is statistical, the second is the uncorrelated systematic, while the third one is a $p_{\rm T}$-correlated systematic uncertainty.

$v_2^{J/\psi}${2,sub} in bins of $p_T^{J/\psi}$ for p-Pb collisions in proton-going direction at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV. The quoted global systematic uncertainties correspond to the combined statistical and systematic uncertainties of the measured $v_2^{tracklet}$ coefficient. The results are obtained by subtracting associated per-trigger yields in low-multiplicity (40-100% V0M) collisions from the yields in high-multiplicity (0-20% V0M) collisions.

The J/$\psi$ $v_2$ coefficient as a function of $p_{\rm T}$ in 5-60% centrality interval in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV.
The effect of wavelet and discrete cosine transform compression of digital radiographs on the detection of subtle proximal caries. ROC analysis.
2007
The study compared diagnostic performances of 2 different image compression methods: JPEG (discrete cosine transform; Joint Photographic Experts Group compression standard) versus JPEG2000 (discrete wavelet transform), both at a compression ratio of 12:1, from the original uncompressed TIFF radiograph with respect to the detection of non-cavitated carious lesions. Therefore, 100 approximal surfaces of 50 tooth pairs were evaluated on the radiographs by 10 experienced observers using a 5-point confidence scale. Observations were carried out on a standardized viewing monitor under subdued light conditions. The proportion of diseased surfaces was balanced to approximately 50% to avoid bias. Tr…
Dynamic QoS management for multimedia real-time transmission in industrial environments
2007
The use of multimedia within industrial applications has become commonplace, targetting improved process monitoring and machine vision. In both cases, the multimedia information is commonly distributed and subject to time constraints that must be met across networks while avoiding untolerable interference over typical control flows. This can be achieved with Constant Bit-Rate (CBR) channels, typically supported by real-time protocols. However, the compressors used to reduce the amount of information to transfer generate Variable Bit-Rate (VBR) patterns. Adapting a VBR source to a CBR channel requires specific care in order to avoid wasting channel bandwidth or dropping video frames. This pa…
